Clean the helmet shell with mild soap and warm water applied with a soft cloth; avoid solvents, fuel or harsh chemicals that can degrade the shell finish and decals.
Clean the visor with warm water and a clean microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor, as doing so can cause fine surface scratches that impair vision.
If the interior liner and cheek pads are removable, hand-wash them in cool water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry completely before reinserting — never use a tumble dryer.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources; prolonged UV and heat exposure degrades foam and shell materials over time.
Do not hang the helmet from its chin strap for extended periods, as sustained strap tension can distort the buckle anchorage points.
