The AGV K1 S is a full-face road helmet developed from AGV's MotoGP™ racing programme. Built for everyday riders who want race-derived aerodynamics and genuine ECE 22.06 protection without the premium price tag, it combines a wind-tunnel-tested thermoplastic shell with a multidensity EPS liner to absorb impacts across a range of riding scenarios.

Available from XS through to 2XL, the K1 S suits commuters, weekend riders and sports-touring enthusiasts alike. The fully removable, washable DrySpeed interior keeps things fresh on longer days, while the panoramic Ultravision visor — Pinlock Max Vision 70 ready — provides a wide, distortion-free view from city streets to open highway.

2-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. Retain your proof of purchase — it is required to make a warranty claim. Claims must be lodged through the authorised AGV dealer from whom the helmet was purchased. Where a defect is covered, the helmet will be repaired or replaced at AGV's discretion.
  • Before every ride, verify the Double D-ring chin strap is properly threaded and seated.
  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened in mild soapy water; rinse thoroughly with clean water. Never use solvents, petroleum-based sprays, or abrasive cleaners — these degrade the shell finish and compromise the underlying EPS.
  • Clean the visor with warm water and a drop of mild liquid detergent applied with a soft cloth or sponge; rinse and pat dry. Avoid wiping a dry or dusty visor, which will scratch the anti-scratch coating.
  • To remove the visor, use the Extra Quick Release mechanism — no tools required. Reinstall by pressing firmly until the mechanism clicks into place.
  • Remove the interior pads (cheek pads and crown liner) and hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Allow all padding to air dry completely before reinstalling; do not tumble dry.
  • A Pinlock Max Vision 70 anti-fog insert is not included; purchase and fit one separately if riding in cold, wet, or high-humidity conditions.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — internal EPS deformation is not visible to the eye and cannot be reversed.
  • Store the helmet in its carry bag in a cool, dry location, away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and extreme heat. UV exposure and petrochemical contact degrade thermoplastic shells over time.
  • AGV recommends replacing the helmet every 5 years from the date of first use, as materials deteriorate with age regardless of visual condition.
  • Do not apply adhesive stickers, paint, or chemical treatments to the shell or visor without confirming compatibility — many solvents in adhesives and paints attack thermoplastic.
