Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soapy water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, thinners, or abrasive cleaners that can damage the shell finish and degrade graphics.
Clean the visor with a soft, damp cloth — never wipe a dry visor, as fine dust particles will scratch the lens surface.
If the interior lining is removable, hand-wash it in cold water with a gentle detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before refitting; do not machine-wash or tumble dry.
Store the helmet in a breathable bag or on a padded shelf in a cool, dry location, well away from direct sunlight, fuel, oils, and cleaning solvents, all of which degrade foam and shell materials over time.
Inspect the chin strap and retention buckle regularly for fraying, cracking, or loose stitching; retire the helmet if the retention system is compromised.
