Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or petrol, which can damage the shell surface and graphics.
Clean the visor with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent; never wipe a dry visor as fine grit will scratch the lens.
If the interior liner and cheekpads are removable, hand-wash them in cool water with a gentle detergent and allow them to air dry completely before refitting — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemical fumes, all of which can degrade shell materials and foam liners over time.
Do not place heavy objects on top of the helmet during storage, as this can distort the shell or crush the internal EPS liner.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even when no visible damage is apparent — internal EPS liners crush on impact and do not recover.
Inspect the chin strap, buckle, and retention system regularly; retire the helmet if any component shows fraying, cracking, or deformation.
