Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, fuel or brake fluid, which can damage the shell and liner.
Clean the inner liner by hand-washing with mild soap if removable, or spot-cleaning if fixed; allow to dry thoroughly before use.
Clean the visor with lukewarm water and a soft cloth; never wipe a dry visor as it will scratch.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — internal EPS foam does not recover.
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemicals, which can degrade materials over time.
Do not hang the helmet by its chin strap for extended periods, as this can deform the strap or retention system.
Inspect the chin strap buckle and retention system regularly for wear, fraying or looseness before each ride.
