Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, acetone, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the shell finish and visor coatings.
Clean the visor with lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth to prevent scratching; never wipe a dry visor.
Remove the interior lining (if removable) and hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent; allow to air-dry completely before re-fitting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel, and chemical fumes, preferably in a helmet bag or box.
Inspect the shell, visor, retention strap, and buckle for cracks, deep scratches, or wear before every ride.
