Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid solvent-based, petrol-based or abrasive cleaners, which can degrade the shell finish and structural materials.
Clean the visor using a gentle lens cleaner or plain water and a clean microfibre cloth; do not use paper towels or abrasive pads that may scratch the lens surface.
Where the interior liner is removable, hand-wash in mild detergent and allow it to air-dry completely before refitting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
Store the helmet in a helmet bag or a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources; prolonged UV and heat exposure can degrade EPS foam and shell integrity.
Do not stack heavy items on top of the helmet during storage or transport.
Inspect the retention system (buckle and chinstrap) for wear or damage before each ride and replace if any component is frayed or fails to latch securely.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible external damage is apparent — EPS liner foam does not recover after a collision and will not provide the same protection a second time.
Do not apply solvent-based adhesives, aftermarket paints or chemical treatments to the shell, as these can compromise structural integrity.
