- Remove the inner liner and cheek pads before washing; hand-wash in mild soap and warm water, then air-dry completely before reassembling.
- Wipe the outer shell with a damp microfibre cloth and mild soap; avoid solvent-based cleaners, petrol, or abrasive pads that can degrade the shell and graphics.
- Clean the visor with a soft damp cloth; never dry-wipe a dusty visor as it will scratch the lens coating.
- Deploy and retract the inner sun visor using the side lever; keep the mechanism clear of debris to prevent sticking.
- Replace the visor using the RapidFire Plus mechanism — no tools required; inspect the visor seal periodically for wear.
- Install a Pinlock insert into the visor if riding in cold or humid conditions to reduce fogging.
- Check helmet retention strap and buckle for fraying or corrosion before each ride.
- Store the helmet in its bag or a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and solvents.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — internal EPS damage may not be obvious.
