The HJC RPHA 70 Carbon is a premium full-face helmet built around a lightweight carbon fibre shell, designed for sport-touring riders who want to reduce helmet weight without compromising protection or all-day comfort. The SOLID finish presents the natural carbon weave, giving the helmet a refined, understated look that suits a wide range of riding styles and gear combinations.
An integrated drop-down inner sun visor removes the need to carry a second tinted shield when light conditions change on longer rides. HJC's multi-directional ventilation and a fully removable, washable interior liner add practical comfort across commuting, touring and spirited weekend riding alike.

- Dampen the shell with water before wiping; clean with a soft cloth and a mild soap solution — never use solvents, petrol-based cleaners or abrasive pads on the shell or visor.
- Always dampen the visor before wiping it; dry-wiping a visor will cause surface scratches that impair vision.
- Clean the Pinlock insert with clean water only — avoid any cleaning agents that can degrade the anti-fog coating.
- Unclip and remove the interior liner and cheek pads, then hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent; allow to air dry completely before refitting, as fitting a damp liner can cause odour and premature wear.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemical exposure, all of which degrade EPS foam and shell materials over time.
- Use the RapidFire lever to remove or seat the visor without tools; confirm the visor is fully locked before every ride.
- Inspect the visor regularly for deep scratches or crazing that reduce optical clarity and replace it if vision is compromised.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible external damage exists — EPS foam crushes internally and cannot be inspected by eye.
- Do not apply aftermarket adhesive stickers, spray paints or chemical treatments directly to the shell, as these can weaken the carbon fibre laminate.
