The HJC RPHA 12 is the brand's flagship full-face helmet, built for sport and road riders who demand premium protection, aerodynamic refinement, and all-day comfort. Its shell is constructed using HJC's P.I.M.Plus composite — a blend of carbon fibre, aramid, and glass fibre — keeping weight low without compromising structural integrity.
Inside, a moisture-wicking, antibacterial liner works alongside an advanced ventilation system to maintain a comfortable riding environment across a wide range of conditions. The optical-class shield is Pinlock-ready, and HJC's RapidFire II mechanism allows tool-free visor swaps at the roadside.

- Clean the shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners, which can degrade the outer coating.
- Clean the face shield by rinsing with warm water before wiping — never dry-wipe a dirty visor as grit will scratch the optical surface.
- Remove and hand-wash the interior liner in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent; allow to air-dry fully before reinserting.
- Store the helmet in its bag or box in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemicals, which degrade EPS and shell materials over time.
- Inspect the retention system (chin strap and buckle) periodically for fraying or looseness and replace if worn.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — the EPS liner is designed to compress once only.
- Replace the helmet regardless of visible condition after five years of regular use, or per HJC's published service life guidance.
- To swap the face shield, press the RapidFire II release tabs on both sides simultaneously; no tools are required. Ensure the replacement shield clicks firmly into the locked position before riding.
- Fit the Pinlock insert by stretching it onto the two pins inside the face shield and confirming the seal strip makes full contact around the perimeter.
- Do not paint, sticker, or apply adhesive directly to the shell without confirming compatibility, as some products attack composite laminates.
