The HJC RPHA 12 LAWIN MC-2 is a premium full-face helmet designed for sport and road riders who demand both performance shell construction and a bold graphic finish. Built around HJC's P.I.M. Plus (Polyacrylate Integrated Matrix) composite shell, it balances light weight with structural rigidity.

The LAWIN graphic in MC-2 red brings strong visual character to a helmet that is equally at home on a track day or a long weekend tour. An integrated inner sun shield, Pinlock 120 anti-fog lens system and RapidFire II quick-change shield mechanism make it a practical daily choice across changing Australian conditions.

The removable and washable interior, Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS) cheek pads and multi-density EPS liner round out a package aimed at riders who will not compromise on either protection or fit.

  • Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or acetone as these will damage the shell finish and foam liner.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads (which use the EQRS snap system) and hand-wash them in cool water with a gentle detergent; allow to air-dry completely before reinstalling.
  • Clean the visor with warm water and a microfibre cloth; do not use dry paper towels or abrasive cloths that can introduce fine scratches reducing optical clarity.
  • Replace the Pinlock insert if it becomes yellowed or develops condensation around the seal edge, as performance will degrade significantly.
  • Inspect the RapidFire II shield locking tabs and pivot points periodically; if the shield feels loose or fails to lock positively, replace the shield or mechanism before riding.
  • Never store the helmet in direct sunlight, in a vehicle boot exposed to heat, or near fuel and chemical fumes — UV exposure and solvents degrade both the shell and EPS liner.
  • After any impact — even a drop from handlebar height — retire the helmet; EPS liner damage is not visible externally and protection is permanently reduced.
  • Store the helmet in its bag or box when not in use to protect the visor and shell finish from dust and incidental scratches.
