The HJC RPHA 12 is a premium full-face sport helmet built for performance-focused riders who demand capability on both road and track. Its shell is constructed from HJC's PIM+ composite — a blend of carbon, aramid and fibreglass — offering a lightweight yet rigid structure designed to absorb and manage impact energy efficiently.
The Diablo Blizzard MC-1 graphic gives this helmet a bold, race-inspired identity, while the interior is engineered around everyday wearability: a removable, washable antibacterial liner and an integrated drop-down sun visor mean the helmet adapts to changing conditions without the need for a second lid. - Remove the interior lining before washing; hand-wash in mild detergent and lukewarm water, then allow to air-dry completely before refitting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
- Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, aerosol sprays or paint thinners, which can degrade the shell finish and graphic.
- Clean the visor using warm water and a soft microfibre cloth — never dry-wipe, as this will scratch the lens surface.
- Operate the drop-down sun visor only with clean, dry gloves to prevent grit entering the internal mechanism.
- Periodically inspect the visor pivot and RapidFire II release mechanism for debris; a light application of silicone-based lubricant keeps the action smooth.
- Check the chin strap and buckle before every ride for signs of fraying, cracking or reduced function — replace if any deterioration is found.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible external damage is apparent; the foam liner may be compromised internally.
- Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and extreme heat — prolonged UV and chemical exposure degrades EPS foam and liner materials.
- Do not leave the helmet in direct sun inside a vehicle for extended periods.
