Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based cleaners, solvents, or abrasive pads that can damage the polycarbonate shell or the graphic finish.
Clean the sun visor and face shield with lukewarm water and a microfibre cloth — never dry-wipe, as dust particles will scratch the lens surface.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads by following the pull-tab fitment before laundering; hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent and allow all padding to air-dry completely before reinstalling.
Check and fasten the chin strap securely before every ride; allow no more than two fingers' clearance between the strap and your chin.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, petrol fumes and chemical vapours; use a dedicated helmet bag to prevent scratches to the shell and visor.
Avoid resting the helmet face-down on hard surfaces; use the chin bar or a padded stand.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact even if no visible external damage is present — EPS liner foam does not recover after a single hard strike and its protective capacity is permanently reduced.
As a general guideline, replace the helmet every five years from the date of first use, or sooner if the shell develops cracks, the retention system is damaged, or the interior liner degrades noticeably.
