The Zodiac Rear Master Cylinder Cover is a direct-fit trim cover for the rear brake master cylinder on selected Harley-Davidson models, tidying up an exposed area of the chassis without altering the braking system itself.
It suits riders finishing a build or restoring the look of a road-worn bike, and fits 2006 FXST Softail and 2005-2007 FLT touring models. Supplied as a single cover, part number Z053741.

- Confirm your model and year against the fitment listing before installation — this cover is model-specific and will not suit other platforms.
- Installation is cosmetic only; it should not interfere with master cylinder travel, the pushrod or the reservoir cap. Check for clearance before riding.
- Operate the rear brake pedal through its full stroke after fitting to confirm nothing fouls the cover and the pedal returns freely.
- Take care not to disturb brake lines, banjo fittings or the reservoir during fitting. If any brake connection is loosened, the system must be bled and tested before the bike is ridden.
- Wipe brake fluid off the cover immediately if any is spilled, as fluid can damage paint and plated finishes.
- Clean with warm water, a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, solvents and strong wheel cleaners.
- Re-check the fasteners after the first few rides and periodically thereafter, as engine and road vibration can loosen them.
- Remove the cover when inspecting or servicing the master cylinder so the unit can be checked properly for leaks or seepage.
