The Zodiac Tapered Turbo Muffler is a slip-on muffler in the classic tapered turbo silhouette, sized for a 1 3/4 inch inlet. It suits riders and builders putting together a custom exhaust system and wanting a traditional, clean-lined muffler shape rather than a bulky modern canister.
Sold individually. Please confirm inlet size, mounting arrangement and fitment against your existing header pipes and bracketry before ordering, as this is a component part rather than a complete bolt-on system.

- Check the muffler against your header pipe diameter, mounting points and bracketry before installation — fitment is the installer's responsibility on custom builds.
- Have installation carried out by a qualified motorcycle technician, and use appropriate exhaust gaskets, clamps and fasteners.
- Tighten clamps and mounting hardware evenly, then re-check torque after the first heat cycle and again after the first few rides, as exhaust joints commonly settle.
- Allow the exhaust to cool completely before touching, cleaning or working on it.
- Wipe the outer surface with a soft cloth and a mild detergent, then dry thoroughly; avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents that can mark the finish.
- Remove fuel, oil, road grime and fingerprints promptly, as they can bake into the surface and stain permanently once the exhaust gets hot.
- Inspect periodically for cracks, corrosion, loose or missing fasteners, and exhaust leaks at the joints.
- Avoid spraying cold water or pressure-washing a hot muffler, and avoid running the engine for extended periods at a standstill.
- Exhaust modifications may affect noise and emissions compliance — confirm the setup meets the road rules in your state or territory before riding on public roads.
