The Zodiac Chrome License Plate Frame is a simple bolt-on trim piece that surrounds a standard numberplate, giving the rear of the bike a tidier, more finished look.
It suits riders building a classic or custom cruiser who want a chrome accent at the tail to match chrome mirrors, indicators and exhaust tips. Sold as a single frame.

- Check that the frame does not obscure any characters, the state or registration label on the numberplate — plates must remain fully legible to comply with Australian road rules.
- Mount using the existing plate fasteners; do not overtighten, as excess clamping force can distort the frame or crack the plate.
- Use thread-locking compound or nylon-insert nuts on the mounting hardware and re-check tightness after the first few rides, as the tail section is a high-vibration area.
- Wash with warm water and a mild automotive soap, then dry with a soft microfibre cloth to prevent water spotting on the chrome.
- Avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders and solvent-based or acidic wheel cleaners, which will dull or strip the chrome plating.
- Apply a chrome polish or wax periodically to help protect the finish, particularly if the bike is ridden in wet weather or near the coast.
- Rinse off road salt, mud and insect residue promptly, as prolonged contact can pit the plating and start surface rust.
- Inspect for chips or flaking plating and treat or replace the frame early, since exposed base metal will corrode quickly once the chrome is broken.
