The Yoshimura RS-12 ADV is a stainless steel slip-on muffler built specifically for the CFMoto Ibex 450 platform. Yoshimura developed it around the 450 twin once the Ibex adventure chassis arrived, so the asymmetrical RS-12 profile is shaped to free up muffler volume for sound control and performance while opening up clearance around the rear tyre and brake caliper.
It suits Ibex 450 and 450 MT riders who want a lighter, better-finished exhaust that can handle adventure and off-road use. The stainless body carries Yoshimura's Works Finish, a satin/matte surface that takes on a uniform heat colouration once the bike has been through a few heat cycles, and it is paired with a matte carbon fibre end cap and a custom carbon fibre heel guard. The patent-pending Precision Taper Fit (PTF) insert ring makes swapping sound inserts and spark arresters straightforward. Designed, developed and made in the USA.
Designed to fit a factory-standard motorcycle as delivered. OE or aftermarket accessories not fitted from the factory may not be compatible. Yoshimura notes this product was designed and tested against vehicles in the U.S. market, so fitment and performance may vary in other markets.

- Fit to an otherwise standard bike — check clearance first if you run aftermarket luggage racks, panniers, crash bars or a different rear guard, as these may not be compatible.
- Let the exhaust cool completely before handling, removing inserts or working near the muffler.
- Expect the Works Finish to change tone and develop a uniform heat colouration after the first few heat cycles on the bike; this is the intended finish, not a fault.
- Clean the stainless muffler with a soft cloth and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner — abrasive pads and harsh chemicals can mark the satin finish.
- Wash the carbon fibre end cap and heel guard with mild soapy water and a soft cloth; keep solvents and fuel off the carbon.
- Rinse mud, dust and road salt off after wet or dirty rides and dry the muffler to avoid staining.
- Use the PTF insert ring to remove or refit the sound insert or spark arrester; keep a spark arrester fitted wherever local fire or land-access rules require one.
- Re-check the clamp and mounting hardware after the first heat cycle and periodically after off-road riding, as vibration and thermal cycling can loosen fasteners.
- Avoid pressure-washing directly into the outlet, and clear any trapped water from the muffler before storing the bike.
