The Yoshimura RS-12 Works Edition is a complete full-system exhaust built specifically for the Honda CRF450R (2025-2026). It replaces the entire standard system, from the header through to the muffler, as a direct bolt-on fitment.

This version pairs a stainless steel header and mid-section with a titanium muffler, a combination Yoshimura uses to balance durability at the front of the system with reduced weight at the rear. It suits motocross and off-road riders after a race-oriented replacement for the standard exhaust on a late-model CRF450R.

  • Fit the system with the bike cold, leaving all clamps and mounting bolts loose until every component is in place, then tighten evenly so the header, mid-pipe and muffler align without being forced.
  • Re-check all fasteners and clamps after the first ride, and periodically afterwards, as exhaust hardware can loosen with heat cycling and vibration.
  • Handle the header and muffler with clean hands or gloves during fitting; oil and fingerprints can burn into the finish on the first heat cycle.
  • Avoid over-torquing the muffler mounting hardware, which can distort the canister body.
  • Clean the exhaust with mild soap and water and a soft cloth once cool; avoid caustic or acidic wheel cleaners and abrasive pads, which will damage the stainless and titanium surfaces.
  • Do not use an exhaust plug or wash plug that leaves the system sealed, and never pressure-wash directly into the outlet - drain and run the bike after washing to clear any moisture.
  • Inspect the muffler packing and repack it when the system becomes noticeably louder or when performance falls off, using a packing kit suited to this muffler.
  • Check the muffler end cap rivets or bolts and internal core for damage during routine servicing, particularly after a crash or heavy off-road use.
  • Expect the stainless and titanium to discolour with heat - this is normal and not a defect.
