Constructed from lightweight marine grade 6061 aluminium the WMP Alloy ATV/UTV Ramp is strong and durable while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance. Weighing only 8.9kg it is extremely portable and lightweight while capable of withstanding weights up to 500kg. - Inspect the ramp before every use — check for cracks, bends, deep gouges or loose rivets, and take it out of service if anything looks damaged.
- Never exceed the 500kg rating; remember this figure applies per ramp, so match the ramp count and rating to the total weight of the machine being loaded.
- Set the ramp on firm, level ground and make sure both ends sit flat and fully engaged against the tray or tailgate before loading.
- Secure the ramp to the vehicle with suitable tie-downs or straps so it cannot kick out or slide sideways during loading and unloading.
- Keep the serrated surface clean and free of mud, oil, grease, ice and loose gravel, as contamination reduces grip for both tyres and feet.
- Walk heavier machines up the ramp with a helper rather than riding them up wherever practical, and keep bystanders clear of the sides.
- Rinse with fresh water and mild detergent after use in mud, sand or salt-spray conditions, then allow to dry before storing.
- Store flat or on edge in a dry area, supported along its length, and avoid stacking heavy items on top that could deform the alloy.
- Do not modify, drill, weld or heat the ramp, as this compromises the aluminium and voids its load rating.
