VORTEX - CLIP ON HANDLEBARS 7 DEGREE : BLACK 50MM [PAIR]

$349.00 $318.95

Vortex clip-on handlebars are a cost-effective replacement bar with serious strength, machined from solid billet and finished in black. They suit riders converting to a lower, more committed riding position, or replacing damaged original clip-ons on a sportsbike with 50mm fork tubes.

The two-piece design is the standout feature: the handlebar tube is removable, so after a crash you can simply fit a new tube rather than replacing the complete clip-on. Supplied as a pair with both collars, bar tubes and fasteners, they carry a 7 degree bar angle.

  • Machined from solid billet for high strength
  • Two-piece design with a removable handlebar tube
  • Replace only the bar tube after a crash, not the whole clip-on
  • 7 degree handlebar angle
  • Sized for 50mm fork tubes
  • Black finish
  • Supplied as a pair with high tensile strength fasteners
  • Compatible with Vortex BE118K bar ends
  • 2 x clip-on collars
  • 2 x handlebar tubes with plastic ends
  • High tensile strength fasteners

Accessory compatibilityVortex BE118K bar ends fit the Vortex clip-on tubes
  • Confirm your fork tube outer diameter is 50mm before fitting — these collars will not clamp correctly on any other size.
  • Fit the collars to the fork tubes and set bar height and rotation before final tightening, so both sides sit level and match each other.
  • Use only the supplied high tensile fasteners; tighten them evenly and progressively in stages rather than fully torquing one bolt at a time.
  • With the bars fitted, cycle the steering to full lock in both directions and check for clearance against the tank, fairing, brake and clutch lines and wiring.
  • Check the throttle opens smoothly and snaps fully closed on its own, and that levers and switchblocks are positioned within comfortable reach.
  • Re-check all fasteners for tightness after the first ride and then at regular service intervals, particularly after track use.
  • After a crash or drop, inspect the clip-ons closely and replace the bent or damaged handlebar tube rather than reusing it; the collars can normally be retained if undamaged.
  • Do not drill, cut, heat or otherwise modify the collars or tubes, as this compromises their strength.
  • Clean with mild soap and water and a soft cloth; avoid harsh solvents, degreasers and abrasive pads that can mark the black finish.
  • If you are fitting bar ends, note that Vortex BE118K bar ends are designed to work with these clip-on tubes.
  • If you are not confident with the installation, have the clip-ons fitted and torqued by a qualified motorcycle mechanic.
