The Vee Rubber VRM-184 is a tubeless scooter tyre in the popular 130/70-12 size, suited to front or rear fitment depending on your machine's specification. It is a practical replacement option for 12-inch scooters and small-wheel commuters.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician using proper tyre machinery — do not attempt to lever it on with hand tools.
- Fit only to a rim rated and sized for tubeless 130/70-12 use, and confirm front or rear position against your scooter's handbook or placard.
- Use a new valve (and replace the valve seal on tubeless rims) whenever the tyre is changed.
- Ride gently for the first 100 km or so to scuff in the new tread surface, avoiding hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the surface has bedded in.
- Check and set cold inflation pressure to the pressures specified by your scooter manufacturer, and re-check at least weekly — under-inflation is the main cause of overheating and premature wear on small-wheel scooters.
- Do not exceed the tyre's 257 kg load rating or 120 km/h speed rating, and account for rider, pillion and luggage weight combined.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded objects, bulges, sidewall cracking and uneven wear; replace the tyre if any are found.
- Replace before tread depth reaches the legal minimum of 1.5 mm, or sooner if the wear indicators are level with the tread surface.
- Keep petrol, oils, solvents and chain lube off the tyre, and store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and sharp objects.
- After any puncture, have the tyre inspected internally by a professional — a plug alone is a temporary roadside measure only.
