The Vee Rubber VRM134 is a 10-inch tubeless scooter tyre in the common 90/90-10 size, suited to front or rear fitment on small-wheel scooters and mopeds that call for this size.

It carries a 50J service description, meaning a load rating of 190kg per tyre and a maximum rated speed of 100km/h — comfortably matched to everyday commuting and urban riding. A practical, straightforward replacement tyre for riders after a like-for-like fit without the premium price.

Sold individually. Always confirm the size, load and speed rating specified for your scooter before fitting.

  • Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre fitter using correct machinery — 10-inch tubeless tyres are easily damaged by levering by hand.
  • Being tubeless, the tyre relies on an undamaged, clean and airtight rim and a serviceable valve; replace the valve at each tyre change.
  • Set and check inflation pressure cold, to the pressure specified in your scooter's owner's manual or tyre placard — not to the maximum moulded on the sidewall.
  • Check pressures at least fortnightly and before longer rides; under-inflation causes overheating, poor handling and rapid shoulder wear.
  • Ride gently for the first 100km or so to scrub in the new surface and allow the tread to bed in before hard cornering, braking or acceleration.
  • Do not exceed the tyre's 190kg load rating or 100km/h speed rating, and account for rider, pillion and luggage weight together.
  • Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded stones, bulges, sidewall cracking and uneven wear, and check remaining tread against the legal minimum and the tread wear indicators.
  • Clean with mild soapy water and a soft brush only; keep petrol, solvents, brake fluid and silicone tyre-shine products off the tread and sidewalls.
  • If stored off the bike, keep the tyre in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from electric motors or ozone sources.
  • Replace rather than repair if the tyre has been run flat, punctured in the sidewall or shoulder, or damaged beyond a simple central tread puncture — and follow your fitter's advice on repairability.
