- Check tyre pressure before every ride; consult your scooter's owner manual for the correct recommended pressure for this size.
- Inspect the tyre visually for cuts, cracks, embedded objects or uneven wear before each use.
- Do not mix tyre types or brands on the front and rear axle without confirming compatibility.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lights) and petroleum-based solvents.
- Ensure wheel rims are clean and free of corrosion before fitting; use an appropriate tyre lubricant on the bead — never petroleum-based lubricants.
- After fitting, seat the bead carefully and do not exceed the rim manufacturer's maximum inflation pressure during mounting.
- Replace the tyre valve core and cap when fitting a new tyre.
