The Vee Rubber VRM100 is a 3.00-14 tube-type scooter tyre suitable for front or rear fitment, making it a straightforward replacement option for small-wheel scooters running 14-inch rims. Australian suppliers also list it as a fitment for TGB scooters.
It carries a 56J rating, which equates to a 224 kg load capacity and a 100 km/h maximum speed, so it suits everyday commuting and around-town riding rather than sustained high-speed work. As a tube-type tyre it must be fitted with a tube — Vee Rubber's matching 72-300-14 tube is the recommended pairing and is sold separately.

- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle or scooter tyre fitter — tube-type tyres need correct bead seating and valve alignment.
- Always fit with an inner tube; the matching Vee Rubber 72-300-14 tube is recommended, and a fresh tube and rim tape are best practice with a new tyre.
- Do not exceed the rated limits: 224 kg load (index 56) and 100 km/h (speed rating J).
- Set and check inflation pressure cold, using the pressure specified by your scooter's manufacturer for front or rear fitment.
- Check pressures regularly — tube-type assemblies can lose pressure over time, and under-inflation causes tube chafing and overheating.
- Ride gently for the first stretch after fitment to scrub in the new tread surface before hard cornering or braking.
- Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded stones, bulges, sidewall damage and uneven wear, and replace once tread reaches the legal minimum in your state.
- After any puncture or sudden pressure loss, have the tyre and tube removed and inspected internally rather than relying on an external plug repair.
- Clean with mild soapy water only; keep petrol, solvents, brake fluid and tyre 'shine' dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
- Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and sharp objects.
