The Vance & Hines Twin Slash 3" PCX Slip-Ons are a bolt-on exhaust upgrade purpose-built for Indian Scout and Scout Bobber riders who want a more aggressive sound and improved mid-range torque without sacrificing street legality. Finished in matte black, these slip-ons replace the stock mufflers on both sides and install without engine tuning.
At the heart of the design is Vance & Hines' PCX™ (Power Chamber Exhaust) Technology — a chambered high-flow catalyst cartridge that is engineered to increase torque across the powerband while delivering the deep, throaty exhaust note the brand is known for. Full-coverage muffler heat shields are included for rider protection and a clean factory-style appearance.
These slip-ons are 49-state emissions compliant and manufactured in the USA. They are not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles registered in California.

Vance & Hines warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of the defective item under normal use. The warranty does not cover discoloration, rust, damage from misuse, improper installation, or modification. To make a claim, contact Vance & Hines to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, then return the product with a copy of the original purchase invoice and a detailed description of the defect.
- Follow the Vance & Hines installation instruction PDF (available at vanceandhines.com) and torque all mounting hardware to the specified values before first use.
- During the first two to three heat cycles, light smoke and a burning smell are normal as manufacturing residues burn off — ride in a well-ventilated area.
- Re-check all mounting bolts and heat shield fasteners after the first 150–300 km of riding, as components settle under heat and vibration.
- Allow the exhaust to cool completely before cleaning. Never spray water directly onto a hot exhaust.
- Wipe heat shields and end caps with a clean, dry or lightly damp cloth after each ride to remove road grime before it bakes on.
- Do not use chemical solvents, abrasive cleaners, or metal polish on the matte black finish — these will strip or scratch the coating.
- Mild steel construction can surface-rust in persistently wet or coastal environments. Inspect the body of the mufflers periodically and address any rust promptly with a suitable heat-resistant touch-up product.
- The internal PCX catalyst cartridge is a sealed unit — it requires no user maintenance or replacement under normal use.
- If the motorcycle is stored for an extended period, ensure the exhaust internals are dry before covering to prevent moisture build-up.
