The Vance & Hines Super Q Quiet Baffle is a drop-in noise-reducing insert designed to lower the sound output of compatible Vance & Hines exhaust systems. It suits riders who need to meet local noise regulations, reduce neighbourhood disturbance, or simply prefer a more subdued exhaust note without replacing their existing system.
Compatible with the BigShot Staggered, BigShot Long, ShortShot Staggered and Sideshots exhaust ranges, the Super Q baffle is a genuine Vance & Hines accessory engineered to fit these pipes directly.

- Insert the baffle fully into the exhaust outlet before riding; ensure it is seated securely to prevent it working loose under vibration.
- Periodically remove the baffle and inspect it for heavy carbon buildup, which can restrict exhaust flow over time.
- Clean carbon deposits from the baffle using a wire brush or a solvent rated for high-temperature exhaust components; allow to dry fully before reinstalling.
- Handle with care after a ride — the baffle retains significant heat and will cause burns if touched immediately.
- Check fitment after the first few rides and periodically thereafter, as exhaust vibration can loosen retention over time.
- Do not operate the exhaust system if the baffle is missing or damaged, particularly where local noise regulations apply.
