Tyre mounting paste from Link International, supplied in a 1kg tub. It lubricates the bead and rim flange so tyres slip on and off with less force, making fitting and demounting faster and gentler on all standard tyre and rim combinations.
Built for workshops and home mechanics who change their own rubber. The paste is non-spattering in use and chemically neutral to both rubber and metal, so it won't attack the tyre carcass or the wheel. Once the tyre is seated it promotes adhesion between the rim and the tyre bead, helping prevent tyre slippage on the rim.

- Apply a thin, even coat to the tyre beads and the rim flange with a brush or sponge before fitting — over-application makes no difference to how easily the tyre goes on and only creates mess.
- Coat both beads when demounting as well; the paste is formulated for removal as much as fitting.
- Keep the paste off the tread and away from brake discs, pads and any braking surface, and wipe off overspill before the wheel goes back on the bike.
- After seating the bead, set tyre pressures to the vehicle manufacturer's specification and re-check bead seating and pressure before riding.
- Clean brushes, tyre levers and mounting-head contact points soon after use so residue doesn't harden on them.
- Press the lid down firmly after every use to stop the paste drying out in the tub.
- Store the tub upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
- Wear suitable gloves and follow the safety directions on the tub label; wash hands after handling.
- Use it as a lubricant only — it is no substitute for correct fitting technique, proper tyre levers or a rim protector on painted or polished wheels.
