A complete final-drive replacement kit for the Triumph Tiger 1050, 2007 to 2011 models. It supplies the drive chain together with the front and rear sprockets so the whole final drive is renewed as a matched set rather than mixing new components with worn ones.

Suited to riders and workshops carrying out scheduled final-drive replacement, or anyone whose chain has stretched past its adjustment range or whose sprocket teeth have started to hook. Replacing chain and sprockets together is the accepted practice, as a worn sprocket will rapidly wear a new chain and vice versa.

Please confirm your model year and current sprocket sizing before ordering. Contact us if you are unsure of fitment for your bike.

  • Fitment is best carried out by a qualified motorcycle technician — chain riveting requires the correct tooling, and sprocket and axle fasteners must be torqued to the values in the Triumph service manual.
  • Always replace the chain and both sprockets as a set; fitting a new chain to worn sprockets will ruin it quickly.
  • Check and set chain slack to the specification in your owner's manual, measuring at the tightest point of the chain's rotation with the bike unladen.
  • Re-check chain tension after the first short ride following installation, as a new chain beds in and settles during early use.
  • Clean the chain with a dedicated chain cleaner or kerosene and a soft chain brush; do not use petrol, strong solvents, wire brushes or high-pressure washers, which can strip the lubricant from the sealing rings.
  • Lubricate the chain after cleaning and after riding in wet conditions, applying lubricant to a warm chain and to the inner run so it works outward through the links.
  • After riding in rain, mud or on salted roads, rinse gently, dry the chain and re-lubricate to prevent corrosion and stiff links.
  • Inspect regularly for tight or kinked links, missing O-rings, hooked or pointed sprocket teeth and loose sprocket fasteners; replace the kit if any of these appear.
  • Keep the chain correctly aligned using the swingarm adjuster marks, and verify alignment rather than relying on the marks alone if the wheel has been removed.
  • Store any spare components in a dry place and leave them in their protective coating until fitting.
