- Check tyre pressure cold before every ride; refer to your scooter owner's manual for the correct front and rear pressures for this size.
- Never exceed the 51 load index rating (204 kg per tyre) or the P speed rating (150 km/h).
- Inspect the tread and sidewalls regularly for cuts, cracks, embedded objects or abnormal wear.
- Replace the tyre when tread depth reaches the minimum wear indicator moulded into the tread grooves.
- As a tubeless tyre, minor punctures may be temporarily sealed with a plug kit; however, permanent repair or replacement should be carried out by a qualified tyre fitter as soon as possible.
- Avoid contact with petroleum-based solvents, brake fluid, or tyre dressings containing petroleum distillates, as these degrade rubber compounds.
- When storing the scooter for extended periods, keep tyres away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lights), and heat; a tyre bag or cover is recommended.
- New tyres have a light release agent on the surface from the mould — allow a break-in period of approximately 100 km with progressive lean angles before using full cornering grip.
- If the tyre has been dismounted and remounted, always have it balanced before riding.
- Do not mix tyre brands or constructions front-to-rear unless expressly approved by the vehicle manufacturer.
