The Alpinestars Tech 7S is a dedicated motocross boot built specifically for youth and junior riders, drawing directly on the construction principles of the adult Tech 7 to deliver genuine off-road protection in a youth-proportioned fit. It is suited to junior competition and serious trail riding where structural support and secure closure matter.

- After each ride, remove mud and debris with a soft-bristled brush or damp cloth before it dries and hardens into seams and buckle mechanisms.
- Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature; do not place near direct heat sources such as radiators or in direct sunlight, as sustained heat degrades synthetic materials and adhesives.
- Do not use high-pressure washers or submerge the boots, as this can force water into internal structures and compromise protective foam.
- Inspect all buckle closures and ratchet mechanisms before each ride; replace any cracked, bent or binding buckle components promptly.
- Check the outsole for wear, cracking or separation from the upper regularly; boots with compromised soles or structural damage should be retired from use.
- Apply a synthetic-material conditioner or protectant to the upper periodically to maintain flexibility and resistance to cracking, following the conditioner manufacturer's directions.
- Store boots upright in a cool, dry location away from UV exposure and ozone sources (motors, fluorescent lighting) when not in use for extended periods.
- Break in new boots with shorter, lower-intensity rides before use in full competition to allow closures and materials to conform to the rider's foot.
