The Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro Drystar is an off-road boot built for enduro riding in changeable conditions. A waterproof Drystar® membrane is integrated into the chassis to keep water out while allowing the boot to breathe, and an extended microfibre gaiter helps seal out water and dirt at the entry point.
The lightweight microfibre upper is reinforced with PU for abrasion resistance and durability, while a TPU lower shell with a metal shank and toe reinforcement handles impact and abrasion. A biomechanical pivot and TPU lateral ankle protection support core stability and controlled flex, and the accordion instep and Achilles flex zones keep the feel at the controls direct.
An enduro-specific dual-density rubber sole delivers grip and structural rigidity underfoot, and it's replaceable along with the footpeg insert and buckles, so the boot can be serviced rather than retired. Certified to EN 13634:2017.

- Allow a short break-in period on shorter rides so the shin plate, flex zones and footbeds settle before long enduro days.
- Check all buckles, straps and the hook-and-loop closures are correctly seated and fastened before every ride.
- After riding, knock off dry mud and rinse with clean, lukewarm water and a soft brush; wipe the TPU shell and shin plate with a damp cloth.
- Do not use solvents, petrol, harsh detergents or a pressure washer, and do not machine wash — these can damage the microfibre upper, adhesives and Drystar® membrane.
- Remove the anatomic footbeds after wet or sweaty rides and dry them separately so the interior dries fully.
- Air-dry the boots at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heaters, exhausts and open flame; stuffing with newspaper helps draw out moisture without heat.
- Keep the gaiter, accordion flex zones and the sliding blade area clear of grit, as trapped debris accelerates wear and chafes the membrane.
- Replace worn or damaged buckles, straps, soles and footpeg inserts with genuine Alpinestars replacement parts rather than continuing to ride on them.
- Inspect the sole, toe reinforcement and stitching regularly for wear, and retire or repair the boot if the protective shell is cracked or the sole is worn through.
- Store upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, avoiding damp gear bags and car boots for long periods.
