  • After each ride, remove excess mud and dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth before it dries and hardens into the sole and buckle mechanisms.
  • Do not use pressure washers, solvents, bleach or petroleum-based cleaners — these degrade synthetic materials and adhesive bonds.
  • Allow boots to dry naturally at room temperature; do not place directly on or near a heat source such as a radiator or in direct sunlight, as this can warp the chassis and crack outer materials.
  • Inspect buckles, straps and retention clips before every ride and replace any cracked or broken hardware promptly to maintain closure integrity.
  • Store upright in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from prolonged UV exposure, which can fade and weaken materials over time.
  • Periodically check the outsole for wear, particularly at the toe box and heel; heavily worn soles reduce foot peg grip and should be assessed for replacement or resoling.
  • If the boots become saturated, stuff them loosely with newspaper or a boot tree to help retain shape while drying.
