The Alpinestars Tech 10 is the benchmark motocross boot, and this ultraviolet/black colourway carries the MY20 generation of the platform. Rebuilt from the foot shell up, it was engineered to give riders a greater range of natural movement while keeping tight control over flexion and torsional forces — the combination that makes a boot feel connected to the bike rather than fighting it.

It suits motocross, supercross, enduro and off-road riders who want the highest level of ankle and lower-leg protection without the bulk and stiffness that usually comes with it. Compared with the previous Tech 10, the redesign strips out material volume and weight while adding protective technology, so it feels lighter underfoot and more streamlined on the pegs.

Sold as a pair. Alpinestars supports the Tech 10 with replaceable buckles, sole inserts and a factory boot repair service, so a well-cared-for pair can stay in service for many seasons.

Allow a short break-in period: wear the boots around at home for a few sessions so the flex frame, gaiter and inner lining mould to your leg before a full race day.
Check buckle tension and strap position before every ride, and confirm each buckle clicks fully home into its memory setting.
Knock off dry mud after each ride, then wash with clean water, a mild soap and a soft brush; work carefully around the gaiter, hinge points and buckle bridges where grit collects.
Avoid aiming a pressure washer directly at the buckles, pivots, gaiter or sole join, as forced water and grit can damage the closure mechanism and lining.
Do not use petrol, solvents, brake cleaner or harsh degreasers on the microfibre upper or TPU components.
Dry naturally at room temperature with the boots open and the footbeds removed; keep them away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust pipes, which can distort TPU parts and harden the upper.
Store upright in a cool, dry place, not compressed under other gear, and make sure the inner lining is fully dry before packing them away.
Inspect the foot shell, shin plate, blade connectors and flex frame for cracks or deformation after any heavy crash, and replace damaged components before riding again.
