The TCX Drifter Waterproof is an adventure boot with a classic look, built for riders who split their time between sealed roads and dirt. A vintage leather upper is paired with a waterproof lining, so the boot keeps its character in poor weather without giving up all-day comfort on longer rides.

Protection is handled by a polyurethane shin plate, ankle inserts and a leather shift pad, while three adjustable aluminium buckles let you dial in the fit over the calf. The lugged sole is cut for grip on loose surfaces as well as tarmac, making it a sensible choice for on-off road touring, light enduro and adventure riding. Finished in vintage brown.

Allow a short break-in period — vintage leather softens and moulds to the foot and calf over the first few rides.
Adjust all three aluminium buckles so the boot is firm around the ankle and calf without pinching; check they are latched before every ride.
Knock off mud and grit after riding with a soft brush, then wipe the leather with a damp cloth and a little mild soap.
Avoid solvents, petrol, strong detergents and machine washing, as these strip the leather's finish and can affect the waterproof lining.
Dry the boots naturally at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust pipes; stuffing them with paper helps hold their shape and draw out moisture.
Feed the leather with a suitable leather conditioner or cream once it is clean and dry, especially after repeated soakings, to keep it supple.
Expect the vintage-finish leather to develop a patina and to darken when wet; test any care product on a hidden area first.
Inspect the shin plate, ankle inserts, buckles and buckle straps for damage or wear, and replace worn hardware rather than riding with a buckle that will not hold.
Store upright in a cool, dry, ventilated place out of direct sunlight; do not leave them packed away damp.
Retire the boots after a significant crash impact, as protective components are not designed for repeated impacts.
