Wipe off road grime and dust after riding with a soft, damp cloth and let the boots dry naturally.
If they get soaked, dry them at room temperature in a well-ventilated spot — never in front of a heater, hair dryer or in direct sun, which can shrink or crack the leather and shorten the life of the T-Dry membrane.
Condition the full grain leather regularly with a wax or cream suited to pull-up leather to keep it supple and shedding water.
Avoid solvents, petrol, bleach and harsh detergents, and don't put the boots through a washing machine — all of these attack the leather, stitching and waterproof membrane.
Lift out the OrthoLite footbed occasionally so it and the boot interior can dry fully; replace the footbed if it flattens out over time.
Allow a short break-in period on shorter rides so the leather moulds to your foot before a long day in the saddle.
Check the laces for fraying and re-lace snugly each ride so the ankle, toe and heel reinforcements sit where they're meant to.
Keep the rear reflective inserts clean so they still catch headlights at night.
Inspect the Groundtrax outsole and heel for wear and have the boots resoled or replaced once the tread has worn smooth, as wet-weather grip drops off.
