The Alpinestars Supertech M10 Unite is the brand's flagship motocross and off-road helmet, presented here in a gloss red and white colourway. It is built around a multi-composite shell that combines 3K carbon, unidirectional carbon and aramid fibre with epoxy resin bonding, working with a four-density EPS liner to manage impact energy across a wider area of the shell.

It is aimed at motocross, enduro and off-road riders who want a light, heavily ventilated helmet without giving up protection. Four shell sizes across six consumer sizes mean each rider gets a shell matched to their head size rather than padding out a single shell, which helps both fit and overall weight. MIPS, the patented A-Head Fitment System and a redesigned chin bar with a collarbone relief section round out the protection package.

This version is certified to ECE 22.06. Alpinestars also produces the S-M10 in a combined ECE 22.06/DOT version, so check the certification label if you require DOT approval.

Set the fit before you ride: use the A-Head Fitment System to adjust the angle and height the helmet sits on your head, then confirm the helmet does not roll forward or back with the strap done up.
Check the chin strap is correctly threaded and firmly fastened every time you ride; the helmet cannot protect you properly if the retention system is loose.
Wash the removable comfort liner and cheek pads by hand in lukewarm water with a mild soap, rinse thoroughly and air dry away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Clean the shell and visor peak with a soft cloth, warm water and mild soap only. Avoid petrol, solvents, degreasers and abrasive cleaners, which can damage the composite shell finish and degrade the EPS liner.
Soften dried mud and roost before wiping rather than scrubbing it off dry, so grit does not scratch the gloss finish.
Keep the intake and exhaust vents clear of packed mud and debris so airflow through the 28 ports is not blocked.
Check the visor, visor extension and side pad fixings periodically and tighten any loose screws; refit the removable side pads correctly after cleaning.
Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from fuel, exhaust fumes and chemical vapours. Do not leave it sitting on a mirror, handlebar or hot exhaust.
Do not paint the helmet or apply solvent-based adhesives or stickers to the shell.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage — the EPS liner is designed to deform once.
The ERS Emergency Visor Release and Eject system are intended for use by trained first responders, not for routine visor removal.
