The Alpinestars Supertech R10 Shield Pinlock Lens is a genuine OEM anti-fog insert designed specifically for the Supertech R10 helmet's visor system. It mounts directly into the dedicated Pinlock channel on the shield, creating an insulating air gap that prevents condensation from forming on the inner surface.

- Fit the Pinlock lens by locating the two Pinlock pins on the inside of the Supertech R10 shield and pressing the lens firmly onto both pins until it seats flat and level.
- Ensure the silicone seal around the perimeter of the Pinlock lens contacts the inner surface of the shield all the way around — gaps in the seal will allow moisture in and reduce anti-fog performance.
- Clean the Pinlock lens with warm water only and a clean, soft microfibre cloth; never use solvents, alcohol, petrol-based cleaners, or abrasive materials, as these will damage the lens surface and degrade the silicone seal.
- Do not wipe the lens surface while it is dry — moisten it first to avoid micro-scratches that impair optical clarity.
- Inspect the silicone seal periodically; if it is cracked, deformed, or no longer seating flush against the shield, replace the Pinlock lens.
- Store the lens in a soft pouch or on a clean surface when removed from the shield — never place it face-down on hard or gritty surfaces.
- Do not attempt to stretch, fold, or force the lens; handle it flat to avoid warping.
- Replace the lens if optical distortion or deep scratches develop, as these can be hazardous to vision while riding.
