The SMK Stellar Solid (GL200) is a full face road helmet built from latest-generation thermoplastic materials, with bold contours and an aggressive profile that suits naked bikes, sports bikes and everyday commuting alike.

It uses a two-shell construction so smaller sizes aren't carrying an oversized shell, which keeps weight down to around 1450 grams and helps the helmet sit comfortably over long stints in the saddle. An extra-wide, Pinlock-ready visor opens up the field of view, while channelled chin and top intakes with rear exhausts keep air moving in warmer conditions.

Supplied in a solid black finish and certified to ECE 22.05.

  • ECE 22.05 certified full face helmet
  • Aerodynamic EIRT (Energy Impact Resistant Thermoplastic) outer shell
  • Two shell sizes (XS-S-M and L-XL-2XL) for a better proportioned fit

  • Check the fit before first ride: the helmet should sit firmly with no pressure points, and the micro-metric buckle should be adjusted so the strap is snug under the jaw before the ratchet is engaged.
  • Remove the cheek pads and comfort liner and hand wash them in lukewarm water with a mild soap; rinse thoroughly and air dry away from direct heat and sunlight before refitting.
  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth and warm soapy water only. Petrol, solvents, thinners and abrasive cleaners can attack the thermoplastic shell and its finish.
  • Clean the visor with lukewarm water and a soft, lint-free cloth. Never wipe a dry or dusty visor, as grit will scratch the scratch-resistant coating.
  • Soften stubborn insects by laying a damp cloth over the visor for a few minutes rather than scrubbing.
  • Use the quick release mechanism to remove the visor for cleaning or replacement; make sure it clicks fully home and seals evenly against the aperture before riding.
  • A Pinlock 70 insert can be fitted to the pins in the visor to control fogging in cold or wet weather; wipe the insert with a damp cloth only and avoid touching the anti-fog face.
  • Fit the supplied breath deflector and chin curtain in cooler or wet conditions to reduce fogging and wind noise, and remove them in hot weather to improve airflow.
  • After riding in rain, allow the helmet and liner to dry naturally in a ventilated space rather than on a heater or in the sun.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and avoid resting it on a mirror or handlebar where the EPS liner can be dented.
  • Do not paint, apply solvent-based stickers or drill the shell, and retire the helmet after any significant impact even if no damage is visible.
