  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, acetone or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the shell material and graphics.
  • Remove and hand-wash the interior liner separately in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; allow it to air-dry fully before reinserting — never machine-wash or tumble-dry.
  • Clean the peak visor with water only; avoid harsh chemicals that may cause it to become brittle or discoloured.
  • Store the helmet in its bag (if supplied) in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not apply paint, adhesive stickers, or aftermarket chemical treatments to the outer shell, as these can compromise structural integrity.
  • Inspect the retention system (chin strap and buckle) before each ride; replace if webbing is frayed or the buckle shows signs of damage.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — internal EPS foam does not recover.
  • Do not hang the helmet from its chin strap for extended periods, as this can stretch and weaken the strap over time.
  • Helmet liners and padding are consumable items; replace when they no longer provide a firm, comfortable fit.
