The SW-Motech SLC side carrier (right-hand side) is a model-specific mounting frame that attaches to the right side of the motorcycle to carry SW-Motech SLC-compatible side luggage. It is supplied as a single carrier for one side, so riders wanting luggage on both sides will need the matching left-hand carrier as well.
Designed as a direct fit for the Kawasaki Z900RS, Z900RS Cafe and Z900RS SE from 2017 onwards, plus the Z900RS 50th Anniversary from 2022, it uses the bike's existing mounting points to keep the bag clear of the exhaust and rear wheel. Part number HTA.08.891.11002.
Suited to commuters, weekend tourers and anyone who wants side luggage capability without permanently altering the lines of a retro roadster.

- Fit the carrier using the mounting instructions supplied by SW-Motech, and follow the torque figures given in those instructions and in the motorcycle's service manual.
- Check all fasteners after the first ride with luggage fitted, then re-check periodically and before any long trip.
- Ensure the bag sits clear of the exhaust, rear wheel, indicator and suspension travel before riding, and re-check clearance whenever a different bag is fitted.
- Remove the luggage when not in use, and remember the carrier is designed for a bag on the right-hand side only.
- Do not exceed the load limit stated in the SW-Motech fitting instructions for this carrier, and keep heavy items low and forward.
- Wash with mild soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid high-pressure washers directly on the mounting points and avoid harsh solvents.
- Dry the carrier and mounting hardware after wet rides or coastal use, and inspect for corrosion, chafing or paint damage where it contacts the frame.
- Replace any damaged, bent or corroded hardware with the correct SW-Motech parts rather than substitutes.
