Silkolene Pro 4 10W-60 XP is a fully synthetic ester-based engine oil formulated for four-stroke motorcycles. The 10W-60 grade suits high-performance engines that run hot and hold high revs, and it is supplied here in a 4-litre container.
It is aimed at riders of sports and performance road bikes, track-day machines and race engines where a heavier top-end viscosity is specified. Silkolene's XP chemistry is developed to reduce internal friction and improve fuel efficiency, including under sustained race conditions.
Always check your owner's manual to confirm the viscosity grade and specification required for your engine before use.

- Confirm the viscosity grade and oil specification called for in your motorcycle's owner's manual before filling.
- Change the oil at the service intervals set by your motorcycle manufacturer, and more often if the bike is used on track or ridden hard.
- Warm the engine briefly before draining so the old oil flows out more completely, and take care as drained oil will be hot.
- Fit a new oil filter and sealing washer at each oil change unless your service schedule states otherwise.
- Fill to the level shown on the dipstick or sight glass, then run the engine, allow it to settle and re-check before riding.
- Check the oil level regularly between services and top up with the same grade and product.
- Avoid mixing with other oils or grades, as this can dilute the intended performance of the formulation.
- Store the container upright, tightly sealed, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
- Do not pour used oil down drains or into the ground; take it to a recycling or waste-oil collection point.
- Wash off any skin contact with soap and water, and keep the oil away from hot exhaust and brake components.
