The Shoei X-SPR Pro is Shoei's flagship road-racing helmet, developed and wind-tunnel tested for the world's fastest championships and finished here in the Marquez Dazzle TC-10 replica graphic. It pairs a shock-absorbent AIM+ shell with a multi-density modular EPS liner, an ECE 22.06 rating and FIM homologation, so it is equally at home on a race grid or a fast road ride.

Aerodynamics are the headline: a race-focused shape, a rear stabiliser with flaps and a lower air spoiler work together to keep the helmet settled and quiet at high speed, while a high-flow ventilation system and cheek vents move air through the helmet when the pace picks up. Inside, the modular centre pad and interchangeable cheek pads let you fine-tune fit, and every pad is removable and washable.

  • Fit the chin strap through both D-rings, pull it snug under the jaw and secure the loose end before every ride; never ride with the strap loose or unfastened.
  • The E.Q.R.S. tabs are for emergency responders to remove the cheek pads at a crash scene — do not pull them to take the helmet off normally.
  • Remove the centre pad and cheek pads and hand wash them in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, then air dry away from direct sunlight and heat before refitting.
  • Clean the shell and visor with lukewarm water and a mild soap using a soft cloth; avoid petrol, thinners, benzene and other solvents, which can damage the shell, visor and anti-fog coating.
  • If a Pinlock lens is fitted, wipe the anti-fog side gently with a soft damp cloth only — never scrub it dry or use chemical cleaners.
  • Check the visor base plates and mechanism are secure and that the visor opens, closes and seals smoothly; keep the vent sliders free of dust and insects so all inlets and outlets fully open and close.
  • Use the cheek pad thickness options (31, 35, 39 and 43 mm) to fine-tune fit, and fit only genuine Shoei parts — non-genuine components may void the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from fuel and solvent vapours, resting on a flat shelf rather than hanging it on a mirror or handlebar.
  • Do not paint, apply adhesives or drill the shell, and replace the helmet after any crash or significant impact even if no damage is visible.
