  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or acetone, as these can degrade the shell material and graphics.
  • Clean the visor with a damp microfibre cloth; always wet the surface first — wiping a dry visor drags grit across the lens and causes scratching.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads before washing; hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry fully before refitting — machine washing can damage the foam.
  • Periodically check that the E.Q.R.S. cheek pad pull-tabs are correctly seated and unobstructed, so they will function as intended if emergency removal is required.
  • Do not store or leave the helmet in direct sunlight, on a vehicle dashboard, or near fuel, oil, or chemical vapours — heat and chemical exposure silently degrade the EPS liner and shell resin over time.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even with no visible damage; the EPS liner absorbs energy by crushing internally and cannot be inspected by eye.
  • Inspect the visor for scratches, crazing, or stress cracks before each ride; a compromised visor distorts vision and should be replaced before further use.
  • Check the chin strap and retention hardware for fraying, cracking, or looseness at regular intervals; replace if wear is evident.
  • Store the helmet in a protective bag or case in a cool, dry, ventilated space when not in use.
