The Shoei X-Spirit III is the brand's flagship full-face road and track helmet, developed in close collaboration with the Repsol Honda MotoGP programme. Its AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) multi-composite shell brings race-derived lightweight strength to road-legal use, making it the choice of riders who demand the highest level of performance from their lid.

The KUJAKU TC-5 graphic applies a Japanese-inspired peacock motif to the X-Spirit III shell, offering a distinctive finish without compromising the helmet's functional credentials. From the emergency cheek-pad removal system to the wide-field CNS-1 face shield, every feature has a clear purpose.

Best suited to experienced road and occasional track-day riders who want a certified, well-ventilated helmet with a premium feel and a look that sets it apart from production graphics.

  • AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) multi-composite shell construction balances lightweight and impact resistance
  • Multiple-density EPS impact-absorption liner across upper, mid, and lower impact zones
  • CNS-1 face shield with anti-scratch treatment, UV protection, and wide peripheral field of vision
  • Pinlock EVO lens-ready face shield to allow aftermarket anti-fog insert fitment
  • E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System) cheek pads for safe helmet removal by first responders
  • Fully removable and washable interior liner and cheek pads
  • Adjustable upper and chin ventilation with multiple intake and exhaust ports
  • Integrated rear aerodynamic spoiler to reduce lift at speed
  • ECE 22.05 certified
  • KUJAKU TC-5 Japanese-inspired peacock graphic
  • Helmet with CNS-1 face shield installed

  • Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap solution; never use petroleum-based solvents, fuel, or abrasive compounds as these degrade the shell lacquer and graphics.
  • Clean the CNS-1 face shield with warm water and a soft microfibre cloth — never wipe a dry visor as grit will scratch the anti-scratch coating.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash them in cool water with a small amount of mild detergent; rinse thoroughly and air-dry completely before refitting.
  • Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, paint fumes, and prolonged UV exposure, all of which degrade the shell resin over time.
  • Do not hang the helmet on a handlebar or mirror by the visor aperture — sustained pressure on the visor mechanism can cause distortion or cracking of the visor pivot area.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, including a drop onto a hard surface; the EPS liner permanently deforms on impact and cannot be visually inspected for internal damage.
  • Inspect the face shield regularly for deep scratches that impair forward vision, particularly in low-angle sunlight or oncoming headlights; Shoei replacement shields are available as separate parts.
  • Fit a Pinlock EVO insert (sold separately) to the CNS-1 face shield in cold or wet conditions to prevent fogging.
  • Familiarise yourself — and inform riding companions — with the E.Q.R.S. cheek pad removal tabs so emergency responders can safely remove the helmet without moving the rider's neck.
  • Shoei recommends replacing the helmet every five years from the date of first use, or seven years from the date of manufacture, whichever comes first, due to natural degradation of shell and liner materials.
