The Shoei NXR2 is a full-face road helmet aimed at sport and touring riders seeking premium protection, a refined fit and high optical clarity. Built around Shoei's AIM+ multi-composite shell, it balances lightweight construction with robust impact absorption, and carries ECE 22.06 certification.

The Origami TC-5 variant features a distinctive geometric graphic design in Shoei's TC-5 blue colourway, available across a range of shell sizes to suit a broad spectrum of head shapes. With a fully removable and washable interior, a CNS-1 quick-change visor and an Emergency Quick Release System on the cheek pads, the NXR2 is built for practical daily use as much as spirited riding.

Shoei helmets are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Contact Shoei's authorised Australian distributor for specific warranty terms and claim procedures.
  • Clean the outer shell using mild soap and lukewarm water with a soft cloth; never use petrol, solvents, paint thinners or abrasive cleaners as these can degrade the shell and finish.
  • Before wiping the visor, lay a warm damp cloth over it for a minute to soften dried insects or road debris — dry-scrubbing will scratch the lens surface.
  • Remove the Pinlock EVO insert before cleaning the visor; refit it only once both surfaces are completely dry.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads for washing; hand-wash or machine-wash on a gentle cold-water cycle and allow to air-dry fully before reinserting.
  • Store the helmet in its bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, UV sources, fuel vapours and chemical fumes.
  • Do not apply paint, adhesive stickers or aftermarket decals to the shell without confirming solvent compatibility, as some adhesives can attack the outer coating and underlying laminate.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even when no external damage is visible — internal EPS liner damage is not detectable by eye.
  • Inspect the visor pivot ratchets and seals regularly; replace the visor if it develops cracks or deep scratches that compromise vision.
  • In an emergency, inform first responders that the cheek pads are EQRS-equipped and can be removed by pulling the release tabs, allowing safer helmet removal without neck manipulation.
  • Shoei recommends a maximum service life of seven years from the date of manufacture (shown on the interior label), regardless of outward condition.
