Clean the outer shell using a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; never use petrol-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or spray-on polish, as these can degrade the shell and liner materials.
Clean the visor with a dedicated visor cleaner or diluted soapy water and a microfibre cloth; never wipe the visor dry, as dust particles will scratch the surface.
Remove the interior comfort liner (if designed to be removable) and hand-wash it in cool water with a mild detergent; allow to air-dry completely before refitting.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — the EPS liner may be compressed internally and will no longer absorb energy effectively.
Do not paint, drill, modify, or apply stickers to the shell without manufacturer guidance, as this can compromise structural integrity.
Check the chin strap and retention buckle regularly for signs of wear, fraying, or damage; the strap should be snug under the chin with no more than two fingers of slack.
