The Shoei NXR2 is a premium full-face road helmet built for sport and touring riders who want high-performance protection without sacrificing all-day comfort. Its AIM+ multi-layer composite shell is constructed to Shoei's in-house standard, balancing rigidity and weight across five shell sizes.

A wide-aperture CNS-1 visor and integrated QSV-1 drop-down inner sun shield make the NXR2 adaptable across changing light conditions, while the removable 3D Max-Dry System II liner keeps the interior fresh on longer rides.

The GLEAM TC-5 graphic applies a layered, angular design in a green and black colourway, finished in Shoei's characteristic high-gloss lacquer.

  • AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) multi-layer fibre composite shell — five shell sizes for precise fit
  • CNS-1 wide field-of-vision visor, compatible with Pinlock EVO lens
  • QSV-1 integrated drop-down inner sun shield for glare reduction without a visor swap
  • 3D Max-Dry System II interior liner — fully removable and washable
  • E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick Release System) cheek pads for first-responder access
  • ECE 22.06 certified
  • GLEAM TC-5 graphic in green and black with high-gloss finish

  • Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth or mild soapy water; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, acetone, or abrasive compounds as these attack the composite shell and graphic lacquer.
  • Clean the CNS-1 visor with warm water and a soft cloth or dedicated visor cleaner; avoid dry wiping, which causes fine scratching on the polycarbonate surface.
  • Clean the Pinlock EVO lens with warm water only — alcohol-based or solvent-based products damage the anti-fog coating and the silicone bead seal.
  • Remove the 3D Max-Dry System II liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent; rinse thoroughly and allow to air-dry completely before reinstalling.
  • Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry the interior liner, as heat distorts the 3D shaping.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, exhaust fumes, and aerosol chemicals — prolonged exposure degrades both the EPS liner and composite shell.
  • Use the supplied helmet bag or a breathable helmet pouch to protect the visor and painted surfaces during storage and transport.
  • Periodically check that the E.Q.R.S. pull tabs on the cheek pads are accessible and free from obstruction, so emergency personnel can remove the helmet without delay if required.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even when no external damage is visible — EPS liner damage is internal and cannot be assessed by sight.
  • Shoei recommends replacing the helmet no later than five years from the date of first use, or seven years from the date of manufacture (whichever comes first), due to material degradation over time.
