Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid solvent-based cleaners, petrol, or abrasive products that can damage the shell finish and graphic.
Clean the visor with warm water and a soft cloth — never wipe a dry visor, as dust particles will scratch the surface.
Remove and hand-wash the interior lining and cheek pads in mild detergent and cool water; allow to air-dry fully before refitting.
Fit and remove the Pinlock EVO lens 70 insert according to Shoei's fitting guide; ensure the rubber seal seats evenly around the perimeter to maintain the anti-fog barrier.
Periodically inspect the visor locking mechanism and pivot pins for wear; replace the visor if scratching impairs vision.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no external damage is visible — internal EPS damage cannot be assessed by appearance alone.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and chemical fumes, as prolonged UV exposure and solvent contact degrade the EPS liner and shell over time.
