Clean the outer shell with warm water and mild soap; rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth — never use solvents, petrol or abrasive cleaners, as these can degrade the shell and graphics.
Clean the visor with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent; pat dry with a lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the optic.
Inspect the Pinlock EVO lens periodically for scratches and ensure the seal around the visor perimeter is properly seated to maintain fog resistance.
Remove the interior lining and wash by hand in cool water with mild detergent; allow to air dry fully before refitting — do not tumble dry or use direct heat.
Check vent openings periodically and clear any debris or insects with a soft brush to maintain airflow.
Verify that the E.Q.R.S. cheek pad pull-tabs move freely and are not trapped behind the lining, particularly after refitting the interior.
After any significant impact — even if the helmet appears undamaged externally — retire and replace it; damage to EPS liners is not always visible to the eye.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, chemicals and fuel vapour; use a helmet bag to prevent surface scratching.
