The Shoei NXR2 is a full-face road helmet built for sport and sport-touring riders who demand Japanese manufacturing quality without compromise. The Accolade graphic in TC-10 colourway combines grey, blue and hi-viz tones for a bold, high-visibility presence on the road.

The NXR2 advances on the original NXR with a revised aerodynamic shell, a wider field-of-view visor system and an upgraded interior suited to commuting, weekend sport riding and longer touring. It carries ECE 22.06 certification — the current European safety standard recognised in Australia — and is built around Shoei's AIM+ multi-composite shell construction and multi-density EPS liner.

  • ECE 22.06 certified full-face road helmet
  • AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus) multi-composite shell for strength-to-weight efficiency
  • CNS-1 visor system with wide field of view and tool-free visor removal
  • Pinlock 70 EVO anti-fog lens included
  • 3D Max-Dry System II moisture-wicking removable interior
  • Emergency Quick Release System (EQRS) cheek pads for first-responder access
  • Multi-density EPS liner for optimised impact absorption across impact types
  • Accolade graphic in TC-10 colourway — grey, blue and hi-viz
  • Helmet
  • Pinlock 70 EVO lens

  • Clean the shell with a mild soap solution and a soft damp cloth; never use solvents, petrol, thinners or abrasive cleaners as these degrade both the shell material and the graphic lacquer.
  • Clean the CNS-1 visor with warm water and a soft, lint-free cloth; never wipe a dry visor as even light dust can cause fine scratching.
  • Fit the Pinlock 70 EVO lens into the visor's mounting pins before riding in cold or humid conditions; ensure the lens sits flat with no gaps at the edges for full anti-fog coverage.
  • Use the tool-free CNS-1 visor release to remove the visor for thorough cleaning; align the visor to the marked detent positions when refitting.
  • Remove the cheek pads and top liner and hand-wash them in warm water with mild detergent; allow all interior components to air dry completely before refitting, as fitting damp lining can cause odour and accelerate foam degradation.
  • Check that the EQRS pull tabs on both cheek pads are visible and unobstructed before every ride so first responders can access them if needed.
  • Inspect the retention strap and buckle before each ride to confirm they latch and release correctly.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact — including a drop from handlebar height — even if no visible damage is apparent; internal EPS damage is not visible to the eye.
  • Store the helmet in a helmet bag or on a clean surface away from direct sunlight, petrol fumes, aerosol sprays and extreme heat, all of which degrade EPS and shell resins over time.
  • Shoei recommends retiring any helmet after five years of use from the manufacture date, regardless of visible condition.
